R aise the foot and the needle to its highest pos ition by turning

the balance wheel towards you. R eplace the foot with the zipper

foot.

1. P in or baste the zipper tape to the fabric and place the work-

piece in position under the foot.

Attach snap on zipper foot s o that the needle passes on its

left hand side.

* When starting sewing, both needle and bobbin threads ends

should be put away under the foot.

2. S ew on the right s ide of the zipper by guiding Zipper teeth

as clos e as possible to the needle drop. Before the foot reaches

the s lider on the zipper tape, raise the foot and open the

zipper by keeping the needle in the fabric.

Lower the foot and s ew on the remaining of the s eam,

3. To s ew the left s ide zipper change pos ition of foot to bring

the foot to the left s ide of the needle. S ew on in the s ame

way as you did on the right side of zipper.
